So i've been tring to get the private servers for a while now but every time i try to install it i get this error I haven't found anything online to help me with this issue so my last resort is here. any help would be much appreciated

You're basically downloading a second copy of DBD make sure you have enough space for it, if that's doesn't work maybe try some firewall settings. PS is currently down also

i just moved my dbd onto my c drive which has over 50 gb of storage free on it so that shouldn't be the problem, what firewall settings should i play around with?

I can't help with firewall settings because I have zero expertise in Windows Firewall, but I can say that the default location that Steam downloads depots to is "C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\content"

So basically, make sure you have about 30 GB on your C: drive to make sure it can store that
