I'm a student in the UK. I went on the Notesnook education website which said that the education plan is available for US$9.99, which is equivalent to £7.86 GBP at the moment. I went on to my account to sign up for this and it offered me the education deal for £10.38 GBP.

I thought I could get around this by using an American VPN, which reduced the price to US$9.99 again. But when I entered my postcode and changed my region to the UK it changed the price back to £10.38.

Obviously not a massive difference monetarily but it is 33% more expensive or so this way, which is enough to put some students off, and I'm assuming most of this overhead goes to the transaction company rather than Notesnook. Is this something which is known of?

To be clear, I'm not asking for the difference back - I just wanted to raise awareness of this. Thank you!

Also, if this is due to regional pricing - on the website the full year of pro is displayed as £48.16 GBP, which is regional (and more expensive than in the US Sadge ), but education is still displayed as US$9.99, with no disclaimer that this will be affected by regional pricing
