I'm coming from Evernote Legacy and am struggling with some UI elements, screenshot attached with comparisons. Any help would be appreciated!

but ordering/sorting/grouping can be changed when clicke on that icon next to "compact"
change grouping, and ordering options will change
a little tricky at first, but it does the job
about padding and stuff, idk, i wouldnt want it to be stuffed, but i guess its a personal preference

Hey Nomad, I am referring to when you pin shortcuts. It's the only way to brute force a layout on the left side. But the order is determined by when it's pinned and not the names

ok, so do this: change "group by" to "none" and then change "sort by" "title" and then "order by" "a-z"

Tried now and got this error super quick. Regardless, the drag and drop would resolve the 1 issue, I'm finding tons of problems and unintuitive behavior though... I'm trying to share them to be helpful, but does anyone actually look at this channel and take the feedback seriously?

Cool thank you. Yeah I don't know, I'm coming from Evernote Legacy which I loved, but now they're forcing an "upgrade" and changed the free plan to be completely useless. So I'm struggling, Notesnook seems close but I'm finding it to be underwhelming and unintuitive in several areas that Evernote Legacy excelled at.

you have some good usability ideas from evernote, so maybe that will help develop this product, and hopefully will adopt notesnook, i came from obsidian, completely different experience before, but so far, i love it

You've been super helpful - one other question if you have a moment. Do you know if you can share a notebook with another account? I am trying to use these for SOPs and I have ~200 notes, and I want to make an account for someone else so they can view all of the notes, tags, etc, same as my account. Except on a read-only basis
