I cannot for the life of me get chatgpt to consistently spit out v5 compatible code, no matter my prompt. It will rewrite anything I ask it to to be v5 compatible, but even then it misses things and I have to go through several iterations just to get something simple accomplished. It loves xstate v4. So much so that I will probably downgrade my new project to v4 just get past the frustration. Anybody else experience that and find a way to get chatgpt to lock into v5 only?

Sorry for the frustration - since v5 was only released late last year, ChatGPT has far more knowledge and examples from XState v4, and it is naturally biased towards that.
I can try to create a custom GPT that understands all of v5 knowledge and avoids providing v4 suggestions
