misty belfry
#

wow there is some amazing data on there

#

i like editing data from discord, a lot more data on here would be closer to the data i can capture if that make sense

#

i am in a bortel 8 may be 9 zone (south east london, uk)

#

and i am very new to it all, so really just edit as much as i can to lear as much as i can

how do yall get stars so colorful bro?

#

mine are like bland asf

edgy hill
#

I use star stretch.

clear mist
edgy hill
#

Yeah it's from Seti Astro, I use it in Pixinsight

clear mist
#

ohhh

#

also like

#

when u remove stars

#

it kinda like removed a chunk of the background with it

#

how do u tackle it?

#

cuz like without doing nothing when u finally go to like add the stars back those background chunks create like weird halos around the stars

#

looks bad

#

fr

edgy hill
#

Hmm. I don’t have that issue in Pix using StarX

clear mist
#

starnet really mid bruh

#

like look at the starmask it made

#

like wtf is this bruh 😭

#

entire background is gone bruh

edgy hill
#

Hmm

visual scarab
visual scarab
#

like when the software gets the star out but it also gets some signal with it, but its like not visible when u put the images back so dont change anything

#

if u do stretch the stars too much they might apear tho

#

yeah

#

Lots of IFN in there

#

very good

clear mist
#

oh man

#

my workflow aint turning out good

#

lmfaoo

#

i am fkin around and finding out but like it takes so much time man πŸ’”

clear mist
#

mine turns out all grainy

#

for some reason πŸ’”

visual scarab
#

but i use either deepsnr our graxpert denoise

clear mist
#

bro i ran graxpert at like max strenght

#

there are still grains πŸ’”

#

idk if my graxpert is broken or some

#

lmao

visual scarab
#

man grains are normal

#

zoom in on my img

#

if the img is too smooth it aint very good

#

might be little but grain in the images is 100% normal and usually good when in good amounts

#

graxpert does let some grain on the images on purpose so that its not too smooth

clear mist
#

when u actually go to like subtract red from Ha

#

those grains make this nasty red noisy pattern

#

which cant be removed by BGE

visual scarab
#

well mb just denoise each image before subtraction

#

thats what i did

clear mist
#

😭

#

i deleted my denoised Ha

#

by mistake

#

πŸ’”

#

yea i aint doin allat

#

ts pmo

visual scarab
#

Bruh

#

sad

clear mist
#

maybe will try a Lil later

clear mist
#

this image is outta focus bro

#

the stars are wayyy too bloated

#

like 6-10px of FWHM on the smallest unsaturated stars

#

for WO redcat 51 and IMX585 it should be within the 2.5-3px range

#

ok not focus

#

lol

#

but bad tracking
