Hell nah. Mak is a terrible choice for DSOs and the iEXOS is an even worse one.

Not bad for planetary though

But 100mm aperture is quite small.

What are you wanting to image? Maksutofs are intended for planets, but you could probably do galaxies/planetary nebulae if you got a reducer and dumped a lot of exposure time into it

a mak can work for planetary, but remember that max resolution is determined by aperture, not FL. 100mm aperture may not get you as detailed of an image as you wnat

i don't think these scopes would be very fun. you have to use a phone for them as far as i know and that depends on apps that may be poorly designed or not supported in the years to come

i have one of those Skywalker app controlled scopes and i can confirm the app is terrible

also it has really bad connection issues

i only ever use that mount powered on if I'm using it with a eqmod cable connected to Nina
