Hey all. I've been eyeing this refractor for a bit now and I'm thinking about pulling the trigger.
I'm looking for a strong refractor that I can pair up with my zwo 533mm pro to send to starfront observatories, as my skies are absolutely atrocious.

Any thoughts on this scope are welcome, and feel free to give alternatives as well! Trying to stay at or under $2k and probably in the frac department to avoid collimation and larger pier fees.

Septuplet optics astroWOW

Though this point it depends if you’d rather have a better optical design and speed or the extra aperture

Wouldn't the seven glass design be a bit of an overkill for a sensor as small as a 533 though

Would future proof tho

So many choices I know kekw

I do like the wifd design though because I've had bed sag problems before

And the less maintenance/things to go wrong at SFRO the better imo
