Hey everyone I need some engineering-level help here. My old Celestron refractor telescope (yep, older than me) just had its mount snap/fail/surrender on me. It’s been with me for a long time, and I don’t want to ditch the tube I just want to save it.

So: Where can I buy a reliable replacement mount (preferably in India, or that ships to me) that’s compatible with a Celestron refractor? I’m not looking for anything super high-end just something sturdy enough to bring the old scope back into service.

Bonus points if you’ve done something similar or know good second-hand sources. Help me resurrect this classic I want to keep using it for Moon, planets, and maybe some casual deep sky.

Thanks in advance! 🙏
