Hey I'm waiting for my seestar s50 which should come tomorrow or Tuesday, but I just saw this ad of a Celestron Astromaster 130 not far away from me. I've read that it's not a great telescope but should I still get it as it's only £50? I could try to get it even lower haha

Just watched it. Ok it's not a good telescope haha 😅 although at the end he said that only get it if it's used for cheap

It's got a bigger aperture than anything else you can get in the price range

#

Offer £40

That's exactly what I'm planning to do. Go there and if everything is fine I'll say £40

It is not good but not as shit as people say imo

#

This was taken with a phone and bad collimation

#

Yea it's not good but for visual it's better than a seestar lol

#

The mount is the most annoying part

@coral storm I modified the mount slightly, I tightened the screw behind it, which is hidden behind the cap and needs to be removed. The mount wobbles much less now.

#

I don’t know you want to take the risk but it did work good for me.

#

The slomotion control is also still working
