my friend recently got an APO, Explore Scientific 127/925 and a mount AZ-EQ6 something
we learned a lot, i started on the sky Star Adventurer 2i, but we got it running after 2 nights
and i got him a polemaster so our backs hurt less from getting down and looking for polaris (nice!)
after looking directly with some good eyepieces and him trying out the ASI585MC
he said "why don't you stick you camera in there?"
old olympus e1m2 and there it is, 30 second foto of M13
1 foto, 30 seconds, i love it
bottle 4 sky (some beer was involved)
we wanted to put in the focal reducer flatterer thingy in but the battery was low and the clouds came in 😦 - so none of that
we tried one more foto with the flattener but we only had 55mm spacers but not 65mm spacers (OMG is this normal ? for this hobby ? does it matter sooo much?)
and the color was missing completely (should a flattener/reduce recude color ?)
Thanks to Ed Ting, astrobiscuit, nico from Nebula Photos, Damian Peach on youtube, The Narrowband Channel, Daniel Nimmervoll, Cuiv, The Lazy Geek, and so much more
Thanks to this discord, i learned so much from reading what you guys do
