well...
Thanks man
Any idea what I should do to improve my data
I want a more detailed nebulosity in the img
How many photos were in this one?
you could try to reach better focus, and a lot more images to start with, calibration files are a must, darks, flats, bias depending on equipment.
150 light frames , 40 dark , 40 bias , 25 flats
The thing is im using a nikon d60 it neither has an intervalometer nor a live view option
So I have to look through the viewfinder while framing
Moreover its ccd sensor and idk why it gathers up so much noise for instance this img was shot at iso 200
Do you want the raw frames?
I can try and stack em on Pix for you if you want.
Ok here's the link : https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1bvTP7dTWdhWRpt6KoPPgkDnhGtSKntAl?usp=sharing
I did try it, pix does not like this data, sorry
Its ok
Any idea what i can do to improve my light frames with my current gear?
I will help
Hi, that's a hard answer, ISO 200 is kinda low for this, D60 is not a great camera for this either, not judging, I owned a D40 :). being honest, try to save for some other camera, the effort your putting into, your doing darks, biases, flats, so your on the correct path, and you will get better data. I started with a Canon 6D and moved up from there, you will need a lot more iso to get decent details in my personal opinion.
If i get a new camera should i go for aps c or full frame?
Ive been eyeing on getting an eos 6d , heard they are quite good for astrphotography
