I did this cool process of Venus I captured on February 4th. I illustrated it orbiting around the sun from our perspective using a picture of the sun I got in May 2024 during those crazy x-class solar flares. I called it "Phases of a Goddess". I did a saturated version of the planet and a regular B&W one. The actual data itself is infrared.
I did a 5 minute video and had 40,000 frames. I stacked the best 1.5% out of the 40,000 frames.
Shot using my ASI 662MC, ASI air, and my 8inch newtonian at f/12 using my 3x barlow.
