8inch f/4 newt (custom built)
ZWO ASI 533MC and optolong L-Pro filter
ZWO AM5
ASI air
Guiding equipment: zwo asi 120mm guide scope and camera.

Essentially, what I learned is intead of letting blurex do an automatic psf evaluation, you just create a luminance mask of your image, go to image analysis and use FWHM Eccentricity and you just look at the mean value, for this image I think it was something like 4.05. You then take this value and use it in blur exterminator as the manual psf value with the strength at 1.0. Perfectly sharpens the image without oversharpening.

yes! before I was basically just guessing and using what looked good and would sometimes cook an image but realize way to long after.
