The setup is 8" F/6 Newtonian on EQ tracking mount, ZWO ASI120MC-S planetary cam, and 3x barlow. (1200mm native, 3600mm with barlow)
my only concerns are how hard it is to find in a finderscope
How heavy is your rig

What star would you find life around? The lifetime of the star must not be too short.

G type star(sun like star)
wheres noise in general
like thats like the entire reason people spend money on equipment
and thats lame
Get a new mount and a new scope (will still keep my current scope) and save the rest
Also prolly go mono lol
would you be in support of kicking everyone with less than 5 messages out (with warning)

@frosty coyote light sails take longer than a rusion engine.
you gave me the option so that's what I'm voting
ok
warp drive is obv but light sails sound dope asf
like sailing the high voids w my mateys
don't you have to make the sail weigh like 5 grams for it to get to relativistic speeds
not enough money
I value visual observing over AP
So getting a whole set of top end eyepieces would be really cool
What is the most annoying issue/artifact?

what in the heck is the tupperbox bot
ok, birds adorb can you answer this
why in gods name would we roleplay on an astrophotography server
lol
i already have pluralkit set up, why dont we use that
What is pluralkit?
similar thing but more popular i believe
Show me
how
What does the bot look like?
the environment seems fragmented.
wdym by environment seems fragmented?
like the genre
idk
It is bias on what types of servers we are in.
what
im confused
heres all my servers :3
viossa has gone trans for some reason
idk, Because June is getting closer.
@jagged igloo why did you use your alt to vote lmfao
since when can you see who votes? i thought that was anonymous
this changes everything for me
if you hover your mouse over each option where it says "[insert number] votes" it will show who voted that option
I will never vote in certain polls again, I thought they were anonymous...
who cares if others see what you vote
I have my sources
Too late, you are already in some sort of watchlist
No because they wouldn't understand what you are showing them
you are boring
nice mutual server btw
What would you do with $10000? You will not be taxed by the IRS.

invest it
I don't speak American I'm with my great British sterling
Idk what it is in usd
Where is the $10k+ option
$5000+
Just choose 5k+ I guess I wasn’t expecting people to have that expensive setups.
Suppose the majority of people have more than one braincell designated to financial decisions.
New cost for everything or do used deals count?
Should this server have the Tupperbox bot?

LEDs are much more energy efficient than sodium lights so switching back would just cost a lot of money when you could just limit the amount and direction of the LEDs
sodium lights are much easier to cut off your photos with broadband filters
I am aware
but I guess when you design them correctly, it won't matter
since the only source of light pollution then would be the reflection from the ground, which has basically the same wavelength no matter the lighting technology
Used deals count

Get a job to buy it yourself.
Winner mentality
haha funny joke
i'm 14, got booted from mcdonalds because the michigan labor laws didn't allow me to work decent hours
i have the money but they won't let me buy it
Learn stock trading
i'm doing that now ngl
So get hired somewhere else?
i just said that the michigan labor laws don't allow me to be able to get a job with decent working hours
How long until you can?
a year
Oh no! Child Labor Protection Laws! How horrible
14 years old should be forced to work 15 hour shifts at McDonalds!!
I’m homeschooled yet I still have to abide by school hours
So I can only work 2.5 hours on a school day instead of 7 or 8
How is that good
You are homeschooled yet have time for a 7 hour shift ? what they teachin you
Yeah I have time for a 7 hour shift twice a week
“Oh you in college and time for a job? What they teaching you”
yea i dont have time for a job in college 😢
actually my major basically requires me to work for free for half a semester
Well there are millions of college kids that need a job to live
luckily i have the power of tens of thousands of dollars in student loans
Just wait until they're in their 20s wishing they enjoyed their early teens instead of trying to work
People care about light pollution, not astrophotography. Wildlife and stuff is a lot more important than some sweaty nerds.
I’ve never had regrets of getting a job, I love having money.
If you don’t have a job how do you afford your gear?
you give mum and dad the 🥺
UNEMPLOYMENT BABY WOOOOHOOO
Selling farm animals, which my parents let me take a cut of
Would you make a law that controls light pollution?

blud thinks he can gather mass amounts of personal information smh
eh, it's not too personal
plus many people have already revealed their age
as a 0 and year old, I am personally offended that my age is not up there

but according to the laws of physics? then near infrared and nothing longer (because of angular resolution and CA of the lens in my eye)
if the resolution stays the same regardless, probably radio waves
although tbh I would probably get blinded by all of the radio around me
time to wear radio ND filters
where is the "no" option
The option to not answer the poll.
Nah I’m just curious as to this servers age range.
im guessing the next poll is our location
hes 15 lol
How’d you know?
of course you say it
yes because i am a bad person

my parents arent letting me buy any astronomy equipment, what should i do

Just doing it again, getting more exposure ig
horsehead then
Also as far as rosette, I don't have a goto so forget about that
better to shoot something you haven't shot since orion is starting to leave
I have an unmodded dslr though, if that changes anything
both horsehead and rosette are very much affected by unmodded dslr
witch head is pretty dim i think
so should I go for it or no?
i skipped the dslr stage, im not sure how horsehead will look unmodded
i don't really know if it'll be worth it
not rosette tho, thats even harder
Probably won't tbh
I'll probably do witch head ngl
id say see how bright witch head is then see how bright horse head is and shoot whichever is brighter
Like in a single sub
Optical finderscope all the way. For big dobs like that, having a magnified finderscope is crucial
Rosette is actually rather bright, you likely wouldn't have to hard of a time getting it without goto.
Are you offering?
heck no
i was thinking either 6x30 or 9x50
bigger is better
I have a 9x50 and I like it a lot
ok
I'm definitely gonna need the magnification for my M3 project
192.168.1.1
That's a private ip, and basically is useless unless I get a public ip.
You don't say?

Design better street lights that limit light-leaks
even for my 750mm fl scope a red dot is a pain
I did visual with a C8 (2000mm), a red dot would be absolutely pain
I had a 8x50 and it was just fine with it
Then I guess if you had lika a C11, a small refractor could be used
not just as a finder scope but also just as your second telescope
What about the opposite
zipties
Wait lemme find the image
I've used Telrads, lasers, red dots, and finderscope with my C8 without issue. Obviously red dots are inferior to Telrads, but it's usable enough
C8 as a finder scope
Dude that is so cursed
and useless
Exactly. Use it as a guide scope
like doesn't that C8 have the same fl as that refractor?
Probably less otherwise it makes no sense
well if I had this setup I'd definitely use the refractor as the finder
Maybe it's reduced or something
im sending this to cursed setups
good, thats what I was thinking, ill either get the 9x50 or the 8x50
@mortal sonnet Do you use a straight through or RACI finder
Mine was a straight through
What is the point.
You can
none
I'm sure there's a point, you don't spend 1500$ on a finder for no reason
The big 70" dob uses a C8 too, I guess the long native FL is nice for this stuff
If you’re struggling to find a use for your C8 I’ll help you take it off your hands.
You are interested in it?
big liability if someone's bird or a bird gets a little too close
Hmmm I’m not sure if a bird would get near a drone. I’d think they’d fly away
They are loud
true, did not think about that, but then again, pigeons are not scared of anything
true they’d become normal to them like people
It’s just be like planes, or helicopters, and won’t be a large issue.
Australia so uptight that 3 guys got like 20k fines each for getting a sausage from a department store with a drone
Will the increasing popularity of delivery drones, will this harm astrophotography?

I HATE DAYLIGHT SPECTRUM OUTDOOR LIGHTING, MAKE IT STOP
We should ban every light source. Total darkness

That only applies to street lights and other outdoor lights.

It could also be in his yard, or on a patio.
could, I was just assuming pool deck
Send a deck pic.
How longs your imaging platform?
sending a balcony pic
Mines a pretty average length, and not too long that I don’t know where to put my scope. But not so short as to where it won’t fit.
Colour accuracy sucks, and they are generally less efficient.
Have you ever tried to see colour under a LPS lamp lmao
There is zero colour. None at all. You have no hope of telling anything apart.
I used to be dslr on a tripod
rip to the good old days when my images only brought happiness

@agile cloak should send a pic of his balcony setup
I will next time I image

Doesn’t rlly show my balcony but ye

Wait, while ur at it, can u ask her to adopt me?

man I can't wait till I get my askar 71f
i will say this, she'll probably say no

Yessir
Bro ur so lucky for b4

I can't even imagine what b1 would look like

Nice choice!!
The main reason I chose the 71f is because I love the FOV. It's a good mix between detail and widefield, and also the available reducer gives more options as well
Are you getting the reducer too?
not at first but I definitely will in the future
I gotta sell some stuff so I can afford the scope though lol
Yea Same, il get it eventually. the focal length is nice, although it’s a bit slow.

I’d punch a kangaroo
No you wouldn’t
They could do serious damage, even kill you
Yea don't underestimate them
a risk I’m willing to take
Especially if it’s a red kangaroo
There’s different types?
Also they are known to try and drown dogs and stuff
Oh yea
Yea this gif is a guy punching one cause it tries to take his dog
why don’t they like dogs 😦
depends if they are domesticated or not
Since filmmakers released A Cry In The Dark in 1988, dozens of sitcoms and reality shows over the years have referenced the phrase "A dingo ate my baby!" The expression is based on a true incident. The story of 2-month-old Azaria Chamberlain's death begins in August 1980, when a young Australian family lost their infant daughter during a camping...

If you had the minicam8 as an option, I would've taken it
the minicam 8 has issues, first is that the filters are not replaceble, and you cannot take advantage of 585s infrared sensitivity
Thats unfortunate, still it seems like a solid budget camera.

Why would you want to replace the filters anyways? They work fine
some people want good filters
They're made by optolong
y not replace the sho filters with antlias
It's an intro to mono setup - you don't need antilas
Well if one breaks or gets scratched ur screwed
You can get a replacement
Oh can you? Nvm then
It’s like $850 right? That’s a good price for mono. If I didn’t get a good deal on my Astro cam I’d have gone with that

Ares M Pro (imx533)
69, nice.

Uranus c pro due to the smaller pixels being much better for planetary
The imx585 is actually made for planetary
The imx585 is honestly a really good all round sensor, unless you want to do anything wide field.

Dubaiastro randomly becoming ashen for no reason.
ha targets would go crazy with astro cam
For anything in Cygnus I’d probably do some M81 before, since it’s visible only after like 3 am
planetary with ares c and my 6" dob, havent done dso with it yet it will be better than the uranus c tho thats for sure

lucky imaging has to be under 100 milliseconds doesn't it
I did 0.25 with m42 pretty succesfully
Seeing was 1/5 (trash) but lucky imaging helped immensely. this is blurxed
5 seconds of integration btw
i think this may be generally representative of what we see visually through the 28” cdk at my uni
more zoomed ofc and i think slightly dimmer in the core

well dew strap with actually work, dew sheild from paper will just get soggy and it wont really work that well
has to be heated
dew straps that small can be pretty cheap too
I got a 400mm one for 24aud
what about foam?
This is for a 30mm guide, a dew strap would be ideal but I’m not sure if it’s worth
Do I keep doing 20s subs on m51 or do I switch to 0.25 subs for lucky imaging.
13
14

Normal subs
a dew strap will be worth it for peace of mind throughout the night - a dew shield helps but it doesn’t prevent dew on the optics
plus, it’s also an extra strap if you need it
yea I just don’t want to buy a strap rn. I’d rather use what i got to make one and pray that works
I had a lot of dew issues on my corrector plate, even with dew heaters it just wasn't enough. I just made a contraption out of cardboard and it solved all my issues. It's definitely not pretty but it works.
Was there no dew shield?
had to listen to yall I guess
Wdym? The dew shield IS the cardboard thingy. There was a dew HEATER I'd that's what you are referring to.
no what im asking is, WAS there not a dew shield? I know the cardboard is the dew shield.
im surprised there wasnt some kind of dew shield, even a little bit
ive never owned one of those scopes
Oh you mean included with the scope
yes
No there wasn't, it's also quite expensive.
I see. Well il probably try and make one out of cardboard or something, my guide scope is tiny so a toilet paper roll might work tbh. If humidity ever gets bad enough to cause problems, might need to buy another dew heater.
I don't know of anyone who's actually bought a dew shield for their SCT. Everyone I know with one just makes their own lol

Infrared (30µm)
Most people choose the diffraction grating (transmission)
Nah RCTs are sharper
and what evidence do you have for that? RCs have bigger central obstructions
3d print it if you have one.
I don't have 3d printer
there's a lot of places that'll 3d print stuff for cheap ish
look up 3d print online and you'll find many
i used this to 3d print parts for my 1:1 replica f1 wheel
can i 3d print it for you?
I just want a DIY fast solution for the time being
perhaps 3d print in the future but I want something temporary right now
cardboard is probably the way to go for now then
easy to make and doesn't make a mess
I just love this guy
It's a known fact... CO doesn't matter for sharpness. There's a reason as to why the majority of research scopes are RCTs, extremely well corrected field without the need for coma correctors.
Co definitely matters for sharpness...
it's taking away part of your aperture
The benefits completely outweigh any negative effect that has, the biggest difference is contrast but that's useless for photography, that's why they aren't used for visual tho.
fair enough but saying that the central obstruction doesn't matter for sharpness is a straight up lie
A newt with 1% obstruction (obviously not possible but just to make an example) would still be worse than an RC with 50% obs because aperture doesn't do shit against coma
coma correctors exist
Still sharper as you aren't using refraction with an rc
Another advantage (actually a really big one) is the fact they are very compact. Imagine a f/8 40" newt in an observatory
I observe visually with an RC. The central obstruction reduces contrast a little for planetary observation, but the effect is overstated.
But the contrast issues don't affect extended objects much. It does great on nebulae, nearby galaxies, and especially open clusters due to the lack of coma
Actually a big reason I picked an RC is that there's really not much in the way of 8" f/8 scopes besides it
I do the annoying thing as always
What do I get for a potential future observatory

smart scopes don't deserve the hate they get
Where sct
I think smart scopes are hated by the old boomers who think everything needs to be manual and you need to learn the night sky with nothing but a planisphere. And by astrophotographers who think they are too easy and not real AP
Undeserved
I feel like using a manual dob will learn the sky easier and faster but that's just me
Will have a deeper knowledge
I found it hard that way. Maybe I’m just lazy but once I started imaging i was able to learn where objects are easier
A combo of visual and imaging is probably best
I know a lot of visual purists probably think that Go-to is terrible, but I can’t live without it lol
I've done my fair share of manual target finding, GOTO is amazing
they are completely fine at what they do but they do everything for you and they leave you with no upgrade path
just depends what you're looking for in astro. Final images, or the experience of taking the images
I agree. But for the S30 and S50 specifically, they are the cheapest and simplest way to get into the hobby and produce decent results. For a lot of people this is enough, especially for a family or older people who dont necessarily want to have a large rig that costs at least 5x more.
For a lot of us here we like the experience and what not, but I think they get too much hate.
Just because the experience for someone wouldn’t be as enjoyable as a full blown dig, doesn’t mean they should go hating on them and saying the people who buy them are wasting their money. (Which is what I’ve seen happening Sadly)
Ok there’s my Ted Talk

i agree with everything callo said I've been saying that for a while lol
sure they do everything for you but it isn't forced. They give you the option to do things yourself and you do have some minor upgrade paths like filters and switching to equatorial
IMO if you get a smart scope just for the final picture then just grab hubble pics from google
callo explained pretty well the "why?"
I agree
yep I’m not repeating it lol
most comments people make on smart scopes are just observations, not really hate.
they're not necessarily bad, just good at different things
If it was all that itd be fine. But I’ve actually seen hate elsewhere towards them. A lot of gate keeping
the smart scopes are marketed towards people who just want to throw it on the ground and see pretty stuff but i actually realized i have not met a smart scope user so far who wasn't willing to learn processing to do it themselves
I watched a video a while ago and it basically showed a lot of hate on Facebook towards the SeeStars from some of the older members in Astro. Was a lot of gate keeping mentality, kinda disappointing
Can’t find it though sadly
to clarify the video was mad at the comments; not making them itself
People who like astronomy enough to spend their money on a smart scope also like it enough to put the effort into learning how to do it better
Well maybe
i never understand the people who completely say they are to be avoided
I’m sure there’s a good portion of Seestar users who don’t care to reprocess the images. And are happy with what it creates.
A lot of the SeeStar users here are more into it so are willing to reprocess. Kind of an audience bias
yes there definitely is
but i have met a lot of smart scope users
and so far nobody has not cared enough to try and improve
And it isn't just in this server
Smart scopes deserve hate partially because there's no hardship onto it in every hobby i think there should be at least some downs and these downs make you better next time and you learn more
You just sit relax and just image without doing much
frustration is a hobby killer
In real ap it takes time n dedication to get good images
Yup but for me I always learn from it
Other day I images m101 thru phone it came out so dim but I never realised it was m101 I was careless
Spent me 3h 'looking for it's when it was in every pic I took I was so careless
So next time I have to pay attention in small details in every pic
Not to be an ass but that sounds like a skill issue and not something against smart scopes
NGL true
I still learnt from it
Makes me better in the future but smart scopes you barely learn experience and hardship from what I'm saying
Here's a question though
You still get decent images
Other than price, what differentiates someone who buys a smart scope and someone who buys a mega high end rig with go-to right away where the hardest thing they have to do is polar align, specially something like an AM5 that doesn't even need a counter weight
yea and now smart scopes need polar alignment too so like
People with am5 choose to learn polar align guiding and all that smart scopes I feel like it's very limited in terms of learning and the actual hobby with actual mounts you learn a lot
Do note I would never own a smart telescope because I have no use for one, but you know, devil's advocate
I mean smart scopes also need polar alignment
It's probably the most easiest polar align to do as it can like show on the app
And where to move n stuff
Skywatcher and celestron also have an app that tell you where to point and where to line it up
I forgot abt that 😅
nope.
Well depends if ur using eq mode or not
They already in general just track the sky
Smart scopes are for weaklings maybe for casual starters
Why are smart scope dumb scopes?
galaxies🔛 🔝
Smart scopes aside: in forums for visual astronomy, there's always complaints about SCT quality. Everyone's trying to find a "freaky sharp" SCT out of what seems to be a sea of "mush dogs"
RCs get slander, but mostly the older solid tube ones from GSO and it's honestly deserved. New ones seem to have addressed a good number of those issues.
Though I do think the effect of a large CO is generally overstated. It makes a difference but it's not enormous
I've heard of a lot of older experienced astrophotographers talk about how SeeStars have kept them in the hobby now that they're not capable of setting up and taking down a huge rig or their eyes aren't up to intensive visual observation.
I used to think that GoTo was a waste but my god has it changed my visual observing. I should be clear about what I mean by "waste" though: mostly in terms of the extra weight a fully motorized mount and power supply would require.
Are go-to really that heavier, and for my go-to its just 8 AAs
Absolutely yea, its great for older people who dont got the energy to set up big rigs
Well in my case, I went for a strain wave mount and it's much more manageable than my old rig! I never thought an 8" RC would be what I'd call "grab and go" but it certainly is now
I don't think I'm hauling any more than 50 pounds of equipment, and I don't even have a car
I can very agree that
Smartscopes are probably the only way to get decent images without any hassle it's probably the last thing I would do

mono if you have money and lots of clear nights
I have neither so i'm going OSC
i've never used an astrocam but it seems obvious that mono would be better
so i'll go that if I had almost unlimited clear nights (i haven't had one in weeks) and money
how is this even a question
Why do people always say mono isn’t good for them because they don’t have time
It’s the complete opposite
ur image is going to be better faster
30 mins for r g b> 1 hour 30 mins osc
don't you have to shoot 30 minutes r, 30 minutes g and 30 minutes b?
ok? U just use a filter wheel or filter drawer and ez
also, even one hour of total rgb will be better than 1 hour 30 mins osc
True
Bedrock should be banned from Earth
java on sight
Java 101%
I would genuinely still play bedrock tho, I have no issue with it
It’s others choice
I hate it because I used to do serious redstone and redstone in bedrock is trash
oh that is overwhelmingly java
I actually made a computer once, lost the world but I have a video of it computing the Fibonacci's sequence
Oh yeh for sure
My cousin used to always annoy me by talking about a “Redstone contraption”
i forgot what it even is lmao
So basically, java is the same but better
I'm used to bedrock so for me it's just better
I think you mean Bugrock
hot take: no server should be bedrock
Bedrock is trash
What do you think are the most hated scopes

why would it be better
you have to pay for mods

Do smart telescopes deserve the hate?

There’s also acrylic
print? shred.
my current camera. to be honest...
do a HOO palette
go for the hoo pallete
I can get SHO and do a bunch of different palletes with those tho
In the poll I'm referring to the filters to use, not necesarilly the pallette I'll use.
SHO bleugh
Yeah but if I just get Ha and Oiii i'm limited to just a few pallettes, if I also get Sii I can do a lot of shit.
get hoo
"get hoo" doesn't mean anything tho 😭 I get Oiii and H-a is what you mean
Let's see what the people want tho

I got a metal print and they messed it up. Was too dim so none of the faint dust was visible on the Horsehead and Flame Nebula 😦
I love f2
Which one isn't the lottery lens?
yea true the roki can be a lottery lens
ive seen some horrible ones
but when its good it can be crazy
Who’d you buy it from?
CanvasPeople
If you just increased the brightness of the image prior to sending it wouldn’t that fix the issue?
Yea but I didn’t know that ahead of time. And if I did that it would’ve made the noise worse and my target brighter
while ive used the fma 180 and its pretty good, f2 is f2
What would you rather image DSOs with?

Canon 60d (DSLR)

I’m probably gonna buy new, but the tariffs are probably gonna scrub my Rokinon plans
That’s what I’m using for now, sub 400ms exposures

Southern has so much better stuff
Northern has much more planetary nebula and galaxies ngl
These answers are wrong. M16 is much nicer in lrgb.
I like SHO on them tbh, I'm not a fan of the purple stars but I really don't want to get RGB stars.
But then the galaxies and planetary nebula are usually way too dim for visual. Like all u can see with an 8 inch are fuzzy patches of light, when it comes to galaxies
No it ain't
I literally saw ring nebula in b7 with my bare eyes 6 inch newtonian
It was grey and clearly had structure
It depends on surface brightness
Galaxies by eye you have no chance but I had good results with just long exposure phone
speaking of galaxys, Im gonna image a galaxy tonight
Here is the poll. There are so many being posted and it gets longer and longer to find.

they should know the big dipper and cassiopea, possibly cygnus, definitly orion
southern dwellers gotta know southern cross and centaurus atleast
What’s the point
There’s no use tbh
if you get stuck in the woods with an heq5, you can do astrophotography because you will know how to find Polaris to polar allign
no power for the heq5 ?
nah, you got solar or a big power bank, like your car broke down
Constellations r useful if I'm ever kidnapped then dumped in a forest I cna just look at polaris and know my compass
Which is not to say that you'll be able to polar align ... just that you will know how to find it.
true
The only reason I’m any good with directions is because I know the sky.
which one should I submit to the comp

take your pick from the options on the poll
I have 2 nights to do this
do 5h per night and you'll be golden
I can get at max 10-20 minutes per night
skill issue
Im gonna fill so many sd cards
I also dont know where my intervelometer is
and my finder scope is not aligned
but I do have my collimation cap

Diffraction grating ( transmission )
You should know the basic ones
Ursa Major and Ursa Minor, Casseiopeia, Orion,
1 and 2
yeah you should but it also isnt really useful if you never do anything astronomy related
nobodys actually gonna find their way home from the middle of the forest with the star patterns
I think it's good to know at least Polaris or the southern equivilent incase you ever get lost without phone service
Should people know some constellations (As in name and being able to locate them)

Yes
What is the difference between negative and horrible
Because my parents let me do it but won’t let me buy anything until I buy a car
horrible is like they actively laugh, i dunno
Does #💬-general-chat message count as horrible
yeah
rahg
negative is like mild remarks ig
i'm a lucky man when it comes to mine
the thing is my parents show off my stuff to family yet at home they hate it
pick a side are you gonna support it or not
i mean my dad camps with my at the starparty, does visual halpha solar with me and has seen the aurora in may, october and january with me
yea they just want to look good to other family
god damnit..
real my dad took me to a Bortle 1 one time just becuase he wanted too and he was interested he stayed out almost whole night with me to chat about space and stuff
not just astro Literally any hobby that they can do so they will
Yeah I’m picking that then, since they complain about how it won’t make me money and stuff 💀
you can make some good money off it if you have a channel and do it right..
Plus my dad does visual with me sometimes
hey i know a guy who made 20 whole dollars off astro
My mom doesn’t like me spending all mu money but other than that she likes my images
which was about 0.02% the cost of his setup but eh
Same
i mean as one wise man once said if you have a ASIAIR your not rich Anymore..
I might make a YouTube about it ngl
it's a neat tool i am planning to get it for my next rig...
i have a telescope army beginning
3 scopes so far..
well 3 whole rigs
3??
Could you spare one for me
yeah well if they do that they owe you money... hehhehehe
and alot at that becuase rigs cost a arm and both my kidneys
i have no limbs or organs left....
steal some
good point!
If you don’t mind me asking, how old are you
Cuz if you’re above 18 I’d let them and make them pay
nah sadly
they would not pay
ah well Make them pay be annoying
Take em to court
You might have a case if you bought it with job money
im not going to let them destroy it
even if they do i'd say be as annoying as possible just make them regret it in the most calm way possible)
if it gets to the point i think they actually will im gonna hide the stuff
also first of all that's a waste of money on there end as well in ways
You could hide the stuff on my doorstep
I really don't understand why they even hate it bc if they're showing it off to family clearly it's something they think is worth showing
send it to me my parents littrally don't care how many telescope stuff i got as long as i keep it somewhere
EXACTLY
honeslty never understood people like that
i just tried to close a blind bc i was about to go do visual with binos and they got mad
Everything can be solved with hydroflouric acid if you have the will
REAL
#1326261767860519015 message imma resend link bc it got drowned in the conversation
sadly i think the police gets a bit mad if you do that
There goes my evening plans..
:(
I was gonna suggest ricin but I thought this was more tame (for whatever reason)

my parents will let me go outside and watched the lunar eclipse with me, they also bought all my equipment
what
can i move in vro
Ehh my parents supportive but some nights it's super scary if I make a noise even opening a garden door ik that sandal is after me..
Cost of rig: $3,050
Current income generated by rig: $5.97
hey income is income
why does bro have beef with astrobin 😭
Astrobin is actually crazy
they keep making really shit images win shit
Why do you note like kt
Give examples
Are you saying my image is bad

ignore the top picks, just use it for finding out what a camera or scope is like (like I do)
And it is volunteers who pick these things. They do it on their free time its not like they get paid
And they do a good job imo
I am far too lazy to look thru the iotds to find the bad ones
but we have both seen the bad shit that gets upvoted on astrobin
Well that's not astrobins fault
That's the community supporting bad images
But it's doing a good job imo. For being free
iotd costs money you know that right
dumb people exist in social media and somehow thats the social medias fault, more at 7

like okay this is a top pick
has this guy not heard of, background extraction?
have the people who gave it top pick not heard of background extraction?
