In my hunt for a nice to observe through and good for photography I’ve come down to these two. As I’m not a great fan of reflectors (no I don’t want a Dobsonian) I just love the refractor look too much. But from what i’ve read these Mak-Newtonians can be the closest to a refractor for cheaper. And super easy to align. I don’t think I’ve seen Astrobiscuit review one?? Am interested in anyone’s experiences with such a scope!

The reflector is a „BK MN190 DS“ 190mm aperture 1000mm. The refractor is a 120/900mm „Apochromatic refractor AP 120/900 EvoStar ED DS-Pro OTA“.
Mount: I don’t have one!

Are there such things as dual manual and motorised mounts ??

don't worry most people wouldn't recommend a dobsonian for deep sky photography anyways

a mak-newt in terms of field correction is kinda worse than a normal newtonian with a coma corrector, the only thing you are "gaining" is a lack of diffraction spikes

the evostar 120/900 is a doublet and not very suitable for photography
