I attempted a mosaic of the sadr region, with failed miserably. Most data was lost due to clouds and fog - and so I just processed some single panels.
It was more like an attempt how to approach a mosaic and never thought to be a picture by itself. Pushed this a bit (especially the blue/oxygen). But without blue skies I got to get my blue from somewhere.

Worth like 2 hours of HSO-data only. So - needs a revisit.

Nebula without stars look so crazy dramatic - but the massive ammount of stars are also very impressive.

Like most quick number : nice, but leaves you longing for more. Sadly this was taken in La Palma during the holiday and now weather does not allow much here currently ...

The only thing holding this image back is a proper background extraction, but an otherwise stunning image!!

You are right. I was so frustrated when I had to through like 90% of the images away (and 5 entire panels of a wanna-be-mosaic) that I only gave it a quick process. I was more a reminder to revisit the region than a polished image.

or maybe try narrowbandnormalization.

Good tip - thanks a lot. I think this is much better. Very sad that like 25 hours of data for the mosaic where crap ... 🙂

And I am not sure if there is still a gradient (left corner) - or if this is just nebula without enough data ... but this image is hard to DBE. Not much real background to place the markers to ... 🙂 For this I really lack the experience and need to practice.
