I really like this - how long was the exposure etc ? I find that when I do really long exposures (10 seconds over an hour) the whole image gets washed out and I lose colour. Just interested in your work flow.
Also what's the built in light pollution filter ???
it was about 38 minutes. I did use the 10 minute exposures and I used pix to process. if you pay attention to the bottom left corner of my image, you can see its a lot noisier than the rest. That is the result of field rotation. What I recommend for you is to try the same target multiple nights in a row getting 1-2 hours of data on it each night. that wont push the field rotation too far and will still let you get tons of data. For me the noise with exposure wasn't a problem but it was for the sharpness. Thats one of the two problems I have with the seestar. the field rotation and the lower resolution. Both make each other worse. That being said, I think i'm just decent at post
10 minute exposure or 10 seconds ?
this is the best i've gotten so far:
everything else just looks like this:
10 second my bad lol
yeah the best you can do is shoot for multiple nights there is just no other way with that field rotation
then you can stack the few big files and maybe throw some drizzle in there
plus you have all the expensive PixInsight stuff ๐
for the seestar its fire
yeah its really good - i wanna know the secrets ๐
dwarf 3: equatorial mode ๐ฟ
that thing is ugly asf
its better

no field rotation
eq mount it
features not there yet
it still works though
all my targets are below "its" horizon
so impossible for me
