Took a few pictures of the Moon last night and thought it might look be fun to make a mineral moon out of it.

Moon phase:
99,5% Waning Gibbous

Lights:
65% of 1599

The setup:
🔭 William Optics Redcat 51 MK2.5
⚙️ Skywatcher EQ6-R Pro mount
📸 ZWO ASI294MC Pro
🌌 Optolong UV/IR cut filter

For sharpening I used BlurX in Pixinsight (somehow that works fine). And the colours were done with Photoshop

All with 'Camera Raw Filter'

For the mineral moon I use 2 layers. The one on top has all the saturation and some denoising and I switch that one to Color mode. The bottom layer is the normal moon edit with sharpening and curves.

And then you see a rather sharp mineral moon
