The first 20hrs of a big project. Hoping if the weather is good I can get close to 50hrs on this target. Tried to get hubble like colors but couldn't really get them exact.

Scope: Sky-Watcher 150PDS

  • Modded with CYCK secondary mirror spider, backyard universe primary mirror mask, and extended studs/screws to move primary mirror forward
    Camera: Player-One Ares-C Pro
    Mount: Celestron AVX (hypertuned)
    Coma Corrector: Sharpstar Coma Corrector 0.95x
    Filter: 2" Optolong L-eNhance filter
    Guide Cam: ZWO 120mm mini
    Guide Scope: SvBony 50mm

Acquisition
Capture Software: NINA
Guiding Software: PHD2
Mount Software: CPWI
Total Integration: 20hrs
Lights Settings: 3mins x 400 @ gain 130 with an offset of 25
Calibrated with darks, flats, and bias frames

Sky Conditions
Bortle 9
80%-20% Moon

Processing

  • Stacked and processed in PixInsight with RC-Astro plugins (blurxt, noisext, starxt), DeepSNR, GraXpert, and Seti-Astro script to convert narrowband stars to rgb
  • Lightroom

Thanks! I was using that pic as a guide haha. One of my favorite Hubble photos. It only gets to around 35 degrees for me but I have a lot of obstructions so I only see it for a few hrs
