This my version, the processing is obviously way worse, I have no idea how he achieved that sort of coloring
wow thats actually so good
veil always blows my mind
Ngl haven't seen veil like this before. Excellent work
Thanks!
Very nice data
Oiii is very defined
Only thing id change with ekuy's process is the amount of saturation. It's beginning to clip the reds.
Something in between yours and ekuy's would be fantastic
That might be my doing
Lol
This is eukt original process
Ah lol, yea something close to that.
Just until the red channel isn't or even near being clipped.
sick,i didn't realise this was your first light
that is epic indeed
Thanks but in contrast to ekuy process it kinda look meh
yeah but hes not human
Just to make sure, you're not rocking a 100 inch scope right?
Oh duh
I wasn't thinking 2600mm is a camera
in photoshop, gimp or photopea, or pix whichever you want, select your curves adjustment, change the curve to B instead of RGB, click the curve line around the shadows to make an anchor point and then stretch upwards around the midtones, that will stretch the blues and change the hue slightly to that less-aqua blue. This might effect your background though so adjust the anchor point you make around your shadows to change whether it effects the BG or not.
@sharp pivot
Great tips, I will try that later
Try it with red too and stretching around the shadows, it pulls the Ha out a lot. These are probably things that he did in his process regarding how you are trying to understand how he pulled out so much data
Good lord this is insane looking, one of the most nebulous images of the Cygnus Loop I've ever seen. The colors seem a bit oversaturated in my opinion, but everything else is pretty good. What does the original stack look like, before any processing was done on it?
You could check out share my data forum, I did post the data there
I might try processing again when I have time, been busy lately
In terms of saturation, I do love that super red pop on the Ha tho
