Can’t speak for the remote but I have a similar phone adapter and it’s fine. A bit tricky to get it aligned properly. The Celestron NexYZ is better but more expensive.

If you have an iWatch, you can use it as a remote in many camera apps.

I have the exact mount. Little tricky to use, and I've somehow gotten better results with the clanky one that came with my telescope. The NexYZ is more expensive (like $90 I think???) But would be a large benefit

If I wasn't trying to move out of the smartphone astrophotography, I'd buy a nexyz
