I ventured into astrophotography for the first time with my Skywatcher Star adventurer. I used an old sony camera with an kit lens. I'm happy with the result. What do you think? Im not that happy with the stars but the lens makes it quite hard to get good shapes.

that looks really great 🥹 . what software are you working with? do you edit the stars and the dso separately?
I definitely overdid it with the noise reduction. I definitely need to revise my workflow again.

Hello, using Pixinsigth mostly, the usual start with DBE, tend to find it a bit better over GraXpert. the BlurX, DenoiseX until I find a value, that wont hurt to much. remove the stars and work them separately. GHS the starless ArcSynth stretch on the stars, merge them back or if any weird artifact removal needed, usually done in PS.
