Hi all, I currently use an AsiAir mini to control guiding and help with polar alignment. Im in the southern hemisphere with no horizon.
Id like to learn about the different forms of mini computers for full system control with a view to an upgrade in the future.
I will be using it on a Neq6 R pro mount and an SvBony 503/102 refractor mainly. Sometimes a newt when its back together.
Ive hear of NINA and people installing it on Rasberry Pi mini PCs. I have no idea what it is though. Im also a mac user.
Can anyone point me to where i can start researching and learning about my options?

I have my eye on the Bosgame B95, which looks like great option. But am also researching a bit more.

A Pi with Astroberry would also be a good option?

personally I've tested Astroberry on RP3 and it was just not good enough. It was laggy and unresponsive. Like when you click a button it takes 20 seconds to respond. And image capture with DSLR takes a lot longer. I've got half the frames in the same time (as compared to windows laptop) because of the image transfer and processing.
Current prices of RP4 are through the roof so I was then in a dilemma if I want to buy a RP4 or a MiniPC and I chose the later. No regrets because it works faster and more smoothly. I have chosen MeLE PCG02 Pro and I am running N.I.N.A. with ASCOM on Windows 11.
There is only one complaint that I have about it: the stupid way windows handles hotspot creation. If you are not connected to WiFi it won't turn on hotspot so you can't connect to it without your computer. There are simple workarounds for it but it's still annoying.

I now have my eye on the Firebat T8 Pro Plys. Looks amazing too!
