i would like to know too

those images were taken with mono camera & individual OIII & Ha filters

#

but you can do it on OSC cameras too

#

you just have to stretch the hell out of blue/green channels

#

even better run some processing to extract Ha & OIII from RGB, then stretch the hell out of RGB. The OIII signal is generally very much weaker though so you will need long integration times

can you send a youtube tutorial?

I basically know how to do it but these blues, think i need to start shooting mono.

#

Both same data first standard second split channels.

when you stretch, just stretch the blue and green channels separately from the red

#

e.g. here's a starless autostretch of soul

#

so now I'll change to linear, go to the GHS stretch function & start stretching...

#

see how my blue and green signal is smaller than red?

#

so I turn off red channel, stretch again & then equalize the peaks on the graph with the black level slider. Now the blue is coming out a bit more

#

I can do this a few more times then try a saturation stretch

#

then I can spend ages fidding with the levels until I get the colour I want

#

this was 60 secs for demo. obviously I'd spend MUCH longer being careful about introducing noise

#

this is with Siril. if you use Pix, I guess the process would be similar

Thanks for the effort, great. My process is completely different. Never used GHS in this way.๐Ÿ‘
