Would be grateful if anyone could provide a solution to this-
I have a celstron nexstar 8se that I had purchased in 2020
Until last year, I used it on a fairly regular basis, however, this year, I didn't get an opportunity to use it that much. A couple of months back I switched it on and after showing 'Verifying packages' it just showed 'initialize' and then none of the buttons worked. I didn't give it much thought and a few days later, it was working fine.
Now, a few weeks ago, I got the same problem, but this time it didn't fix itself. I have changed the power source, used fresh batteries so the issue does not seem to be the power supply. I tried factory resetting it using the 0 button and it then showed 'factory reset, initialising', and then suddenly- 'initialise' again. The buttons seem to be working fine as when I use them for stuff like factory and language reset they function but none of them work when the screen gets stuck on initialise...
