#Heart Nebula (around 3 hours)

Wdym? Looks like what?
I dunno if it’s just me but the background looks pretty noisy
It’s probably because your unmodded and going for a mostly ha target, it’s take a lot to get out a nebula if your unmodded so your gonna run into a lot of noise. I say just get more integration or ask someone better at processing for help
Thanks. I guess in that case I can be happy with even seeing the nebula… oh if only I had an Astro cam
If your willing to spend money a astro cam would be great but you can get your camera modded on the website nightskycamera
Or you could mod it yourself but if you mess something up your camera is done for
I am saving on one right now. Also Christmas is around the corner, luckily
Just for comparison
8 hours not modified nikon d5100, without a filter and with a f5.6 lense
and
around 3-4 hours the same camera but modified with dual narrow and f4.4 scope
Thanks a lot. That really helps. So basically my equipment is too bad to shoot the nebula XD
I think camera has too low sensitivity for this dim Ha region. Try something brighter - Orion, Rosette, North America, California etc
Those targets are easier to capture
good luck
