Hello,
I have eqm-35 pro mount. And i want to buy newtonian telescope. The thing is that i would like to put 8 newtonian (7.5kg)but im afraid that it would be too heavy. So im also thinking about 6 inch newtonian which is 4.8kg. Im using 533mc camera and small quidescope. I know the bigger the better but i afraid about woble 😅
Here is the link to both telescopes:

Yea i think a small refractor would be better. The EQM 35 is not built for that.

a few people use the EQM-35 with 5" or 6" newtonians, but you would be pushing the mount to the limit of what it can handle (for imaging at least) so you would need auto-guiding and possibly to tune the mount

an 8" is too big though unfortunately, so unless you plan on changing the mount don't get one
