I’m looking at adding a celestron CG-4 + some kind of motorization upgrade to my “to-buy” list in the future, and i’m looking at the Onstep V4 Upgrade Kit to mechanize it for tracking & automatically finding night sky objects. Does anyone have any experience or information about it?
If anyone has alternatives feel free to send them my way - the Celestron-made upgrade would work just fine, but I’m also trying to figure out if I can get one that can also automatically slew to an object on a budget. (The CG-4 Mount + an upgrade totals about $580 - $600, cheaper than most mechanized equatorial mounts)
