Guys help me
I'm an Indian guy interested in astrophotography of DSO not the faint ones
I have mainly 2 options

  1. a local store 130/650 EQ scope motorised of whose motor drive has only 2x and 8x speeds . The optics quality are good(spherical mirror)but it has prime focus problem like the astromaster.
I also can buy a 150/750mm with motor but the motor has 2x and 8x speed. If I get the 130mm one then I'll have budget for some filters too

  2. an explore scientific 130/600 EQ Reflector which is much cheaper in india and try an onstep mount like diy but I'm afraid that I won't be able to make it because of complications of Onstep but I'll try my best
Guys I do not have a dslr and telephoto lens and I'm not interested in it also and I want a telescope
Any help is appreciated thanks .

I wouldnt buy at a store. Used Astro gear is usually at least 50% cheaper and exactly as good as new stuff, so the same budget will get you much further ๐Ÿ™‚

But there is no motor drive and I can't take even 2-3 second exposures then

See 130/600 has a parabolic mirror and it can be mounted on any other mount. But the local telescope doesn't have the features.

Then es 130/600 is a budget level scope which is made for visual as well as prime focus astrophotography thanks to its parabolic mirror. Plus it has focuser locking system so that your focuser will not disturbed.

Es provides a lot of future proofing the main downside is you get a 1.25 inch eyepiece but still it is good for visual and astrophotography because it can easily handle cameras with 30mm diagonal.

Always remember a parabolic mirror Always shows objects 30% to 50% brighter and 70% sharper ๐Ÿ˜Š.

In india there is no used motor drive available and the actual motor drive of this mount is also not available I'm thinking to buy a celestron motor drive and attach it to it with diy one brazillian youtuber has done this but I'm unable to understand his language
