How would you estimate the resolution it can give as a tracker?

What do you want to use it for?

Looks like a basic visual mount, nothing fancy. You could use it for astrophotography with lots of tinkering, i don’t even think you can wedge it to make it equatorial. I would steer clear if you plan to do any astrophotography.

Sorry but that would probably not work as you don’t have anyway to counter the rotation of the night sky. You would need to get a wedge and then you will probably have a difficult time tracking as the precision most likely is quite poor. Maybe worth a try if you have the patience, but don’t expect anything above poor-mediocre
