Would this be a good telescope for around $600 AUD (without any optics), I'm a completely novice to this. It comes with a goto base. Im wanting to do visual astronomy but eventually get into astrophotography.

yuo want an equitorial mount

minimum for a 200mm scope is a heq5

I didnt want to get it, as i want to look at nebula and stuff like that i doubt a 5 apperture would be able to do me any favors

Most refractors have a smaller aperture than that and take perfectly fine pictures tbf
