#Should i buy this goto mount for 150/750?

So i want to upgrade my telescope by changing the default mount without a tracker to this one but i'm not sure if the tube will fit or something like that.
This is the tube https://www.astroshop.eu/telescopes/skywatcher-telescope-n-150-750-explorer-150p-ota/p,15564
That's probably not a good idea. The EQ3 has a maximum payload capacity of 5kg. If you want to do astrophotography you should not load it with more than two thirds of that, or ~3,5kg.
The 150p alone weights 5.3kg, not including any accessories.
If you really want to put it on a go-to mount I would go with the EQM-35 for visual or EQ5 for astrophotography. I know that can get expensive but you won't have any fun if it wobbles all over the place. ๐ฌ
Eq3 pro no, eqm 35 yes eq5 pro yes(for astrophotography with that tube)
Okay, thanks!
Which one is better tho?
Both of them are more expensive than the eq3 especially the eq5 but they are both in my budget
If you can afford it I would go with the EQ5. It's the higher tier mount. ๐
Ok
If i'm not being dumb the mount is universal (kinda)
Or not?
WIth that i mean that you can place in it something like a camera or a smaller tube
as long as you use a dovetail to attach the camera or scope yes, virtually all scopes come with one
Go with a eq5 or eqm35 atleast
uhh good advice but that should really be the other way around, eq5 > eqm35
Huh
