I plan on using it along with a 0.8x flattener / reducer for astrophotography and for a travel setup for visual.

Any thoughts and opinions in terms of visual and photographic capability, bare in mind that I am coming from an ST80 with my sole complaint being the really bad CA on my tube.

seems like a rebranded ts optics 80ED, which on his own is a rebranded scope from china. Shuold be more than fine and much better comapared to the st80

Alright, thanks for the comparison, any suggestions for a decent, budget, flattener?

Additional question, I am asking about this one in particular because I found one for ~£250. Is there anything in that range that would be a better pick for my intended purpose?

usually the ideal flattener is the one made specifically for that scope, which unfortunately always add a substantial amount of money

Seems like the one that Altair offer for this one is roughly £150, which is fine with me if it does the job well.
How exactly should I go about reducer spacing? I've got a filter wheel and then my camera, which probably gives me about 23mm but they recommend 63mm. So would I be find just popping a 40mm spacer in between the filter wheel and flattener?
