How many lights are you stacking

To get more nebulosity out of you images your going to need to stack. It’s where you take a bunch of raw exposures of the target and bring them into a software like deep sky stacker. Which basically layers the images on top of each other in turn making the image less noisy and the signal stronger. You wont really get much out of a single exposure.

#

Lights are the pictures you took and darks is just when you cover your telescope with the cap and take more exposures. I’ll link a video about the basics

It might be helpful to check out #1047623389898088579 as well, it’s an iOS image stacking app which seems to be working really well
