I know that its the wrong time of year to shoot andromeda, id be better off doing it at the end of the year, but i just got a tracker and this was my first target tracked. only got 23 mins before the clouds came in. was wondering if someone could help me get as much out of it as possible

https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1Iqhxlo6X4W1muZ15wyA9K2UGKb5tFOXP?usp=share_link

there are the RAW files and the stacked image in there, i included the RAW because there was some weird stacking thing ive never seen before where my TIFF image was all white rather than all black

attached is the image ive been able to get so far

all of them

its just like the histogram is at the other end of the graph, all the data is condensed into the brighter pixels rather than the darker

You could test only with light frames. Then you would know if your calibration frames are the issue or the dss itself is acting up.
Im guessing the dss is doing something weird. If I was you I would just reinstall it and try again

ill try just a light frame stack, if it still happens then ill install again

i dont think ive got the new update so it might even be that, but i dont know why seeing as it isnt discontinued

So odd, the stack I downloaded from your drive was very bright for me as well
