I kept an eye out on Iceinspace for a pair of 2nd hand binos and eventually snapped a pair of 15x70s for like 150aud.
if you want to go that route.
I didnt end up liking them that much, couldn't hold them steady to make out much detail in anything to be honest. A cheap dob would absolutely be a better option for visual, if you see one pop up, in my opinion.
Even with a tripod adapter and tripod, its awkward to position, crane the neck, move it and every time you bump it, its wobbly AF
