Im 14 yrs old and my parents said i gotta pay for this by myself. so before i go through the work of making 700 dollars i wanna know if its any good

yeah they're good for visual and planetary imaging, you can also look for them on the used market as it's not hard to find one for cheaper

i have this exact telescope and its fantastic. there literally isnt a better option than an 8" dob for a beginner
