#Budget-friendly yet quality mount

any specific model?
they are the specific model: skywatcher star adventurer and star adventurer gti
unfortunately there aren't too many option for goto star trackers
and for "not too many" I mean 1
Oh I don't need a go-to, I just need it to track
then check the basic star adventurer or an ioptron skyguider, get the one you can find for cheaper
also have a look on the used market for this stuff as they tend to sell for good prices
MMMM all of them are above $288 MINIMUM
I was hoping for ~$100 cuz I'm on a tight budget
I found this on teleskop express:
https://www.teleskop-express.de/shop/product_info.php/info/p13606_Omegon-Mini-Track-LX3-Essentials-Mount-for-mobile-Astrophotography.html
Diese mechanische Montierung eignet sich für Astrofotografie, besonders Weitwinkelaufnahmen - und sie funktioniert ohne Strom.
It's rotating through a spring, so no batteries : )
I think that you can also do one of your own if you want the cheapest possible solution
Like this:
https://openastrotech.com/
Or a barn door
Might require some knowledge
I didn't think of them. These could be an option, if the tracking is still good, which i don't know if it is
It has goto so it probably is
No it doesn't
Does it function as an equatorial too?
it should work with the same principle yes
wait I thought you mean the open astro tracker
no the spring loaded thingy doesn't have goto, of course
Yeah i was replying to that
All of them do
But I think you'll need something like a wedge for the spring loaded ones
So it's like you put an inclined thing on the tripod and on that you put the tracker so that it can track in EQ mode
hmmm
Yo that's cool
And apparentely the guy is also building a full astro mount
Seems like the best price I can get, but it's all sold out
Open astro tracker
Then diy is the way
You could make open astro tracker ( if you want something with more capabilities and go-to and you don't want to travel with it ) or you can try mine star tracker: OG Star tracker (if you want something more compact and you want to travel with it )
Or if it needs to commercial mount you can try nyx star tracker. (Only widefield max 50mm)
yeah I forgot about it, but not everyone is comfortable doing diy stuff
