you've got some weird halos and idk what that blue line is????

#

Data looks fine other than that, some banding and some walking noise

#

A bit noisy too

but when i try to get rid of it, the image is dark and nebula gone

Someone has to run it through blurx

#

Or noisex

@mellow flint Heres my try! If you wanna fix banding try dithering inbetween shots otherwise other banding fixes loose you detail. My noiseX trial ran out so i had to use a different noise reduction technique (:

Next time use flats, bias, darks whatever you can

#

Will help probably too

#

Oh nvm i think you did

# mellow flint i knowwww i think its my lens, this is the best i got it, i was hoping someone c...

My Starnet++ never likes it when I try to pull down sampled 32 bit data through it, but here is my attempt at editing it. Tried to keep the background as neutral as possible which really pushed the red channel so there isn't much color besides red in Orion. It is some really nice data though.

Like already mentioned dithering should help to get rid of a lot of noise in your image.
Also I think your sensor could use a good clean up. Looks like you have multiple dust spots. Flats can help, but a good swipe with a sensor cleaner is the better option.
I don't think it is your lens, if that was the problem you would see other problems arise like chromatic aberration, coma and all those nasty things. What I am seeing is dust likely on top of the sensor, or maybe (the big blue ones on the horsehead and flame) at the back of your scope. But my guess would be a dirty sensor.

o i have a lot of dust spots im just scared to touch the lens, but ill give it a try. I know i can do a lot more too, this was only 30 minutes worth of lights since i wanted to shoot from my backyard since it was so cold, and i have trees

So dont be scared they are simple to clean (:

didnt mean to say lens

o bet

Just things like newtonian telescopes you cant really clean

mellow flint

yea i looked it up reflectors use mirrors.

Yeah its a pain but flats sort the dust spots usually

A redcat, just like any regular lens only has 2 spots where dust can collect. Either at the front of the lens (the front element), this one should be cleaned whenever needed. For me that means every month or so, but sometimes more depending on how often I go out with my scope (for my lenses I do this more often). The back element usually doesn't get much dust because it isn't exposed to the outside world that often. Therefor I only really clean that when it is needed.
Cleaning a sensor (so the camera itself) might sound super scary, but as long as you do not have a naked sensor there will always be a glass element in front of it that the dust collects on. This means that you can just use a sensor swab to easily clean it.
