I wasn't planning on upgrading my camera yet but I found a decent deal on a used 294C.
My current camera is a 183C but that combined with the 71/350mm scope give me a pixel scale of 1.42 arcseconds per pixel.
With the much larger sensor of the 294c it would be at around 2.8.
My main concern is that the camera doesn't have Tec cooling and I've heard that this sensor has pretty bad amp glow. I would be looking at doing exposures usually at 5 mins but I would like to stretch it to 10.
Would this be a good upgrade?
