#Need help! When i export a tiff file from gimp it becomes corrupted!

Im on MacOs 10.13.6, Gimp version 2.10.32. Im following this tutorial to process my orion nebula shots https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ambUmZLOeSs. And when i export my tif file to the desktop (to use with starnet++ ) It becomes corrupted.
