Saw this telescope online. Is this worth buying? It would upgrade my beginner 60/700 refractor telescope. And is this the 8 inch newtonian that astrobiscuit was talking about in his latest video? The seller asks 256 EUR for it.

This centairly is better than your 60/700 refractor. What ur looking at unfortunately isn't an 8". This one is a 5".

It seems to have an electronic mount, but since i don't know anything about this mount, i can't say if it's good or bad, but most likely bad.

You can look up an 8" dobsonian instead and see if you can find anything.

Also, what bortle level are you located at and what do you want to do with that scope. Visual or photography, solar system or deepsky.

I would love to take pictures of the solar system and would love to try some deekspy photography, If possible i would use my canon 5d mk ii

Okay, unfortunately you can't do both and get amazing results for both. You have to either choose, planetary or deepsky.

Alright. You have a dslr, get a star tracker.
