whenever you get on, or if you have hoyolab acc, send characters you have
so we can start with that, creating teams > overviewing their builds and how to improve them
actually farming will be a less of issue since once you have directions what to look for, farming is possible with coop
don't worry about time since threads are pretty much permanent, so you can post when you are free and i can review it when i'm on and we can occasionally check on progress

it will depend on who you have on your account
nilou can have pretty f2p teams like nilou/dmc/barbara/second dendro or hydro
but it's a bit more limiting for abyss compared to other characters
depending on acc, furina can be really strong unit overall and with her rerun on next banner, i'd maybe try to grab her because we don't know when she will rerun again
