~We had a total of 74 participants and 281 art pieces submitted to this channel
~The most popular day to draw was day 1 (Funeral parlor) with a total of 67 submissions
~On the other side, the least popular days were 18 (Legend), 20 (Delusion), 25 (Burning), 27 (Adpetus), and 30 (Trumpet) with only 2 submissions each
~We had submissions of over 63 different characters, NPCs and more, the most popular character to draw was Hu Tao with 62 drawings
~The minimum requirement for the Welkin was 5 submissions, but we had one artist that drew a total of 26 submissions this month! (round of applause for them~)

Hey everyone! We in the art team have been cooking up a little something for everyone~ In a few days, the August Semi-Daily art challenge will begin with the theme: Summer! Here's how it works:
• There are 16 prompts themed around summer in Genshin on our "bingo sheet"!
• It's recommended to complete around a prompt every 1-2 days to keep pace.
• The goal is to "blackout" or fill the entire sheet by the end of the month, but feel free to participate even if you don't have the time to do so!
• Send the work you do to #・art-discussion with the prompt attached.
• You can complete the prompts in any order, but feel free to team up with friends and see what you all think!
• Those who successfully "blackout" the prompts by the end of August will receive our art corner challenge champion role! Send your proof to our Art Modmail with a message that it's for the August Challenge
Prompts will be released in a couple of days. Have fun!
This art event will serve as a beta for possible future challenges. If people enjoy this one, we'd love to make it an officially monthly thing, bringing different kinds of challenges for everyone to discuss and participate in.

Art Corner will be undergoing some renovations! We are removing the old Artist role and replacing it with a new role of the same name. The new Artist role will have special channel perms and exclusive events/hangouts. The new Artist role is NOT intended to be an indicator of expertise, only an indicator that you actually create your own content.
Everyone who creates original artwork should apply for the new Artist role (even if you had the old role). You will need at least 3 original works, with WIP images for at least 2 of them to help us be more certain that you made them.
To sweeten the deal, we will be giving away a Discord Nitro Classic to one lucky Artist who applies before November!

The old Artist role will be removed within a few days. We will try our best to process Artist applications in a timely manner!
Upcoming changes to Art Corner channels:
- A new channel will be made for Artists to announce their commission availability
- In a few weeks you will need the Artist role to post in #original-art. You can still post in the other channels and #art-discussions without the Artist role.

Finally, just to say it properly, this form is in no way whatsoever a judge of your artistic ability. It is simply a way for us to determine that you create your own art without tracing or stealing another persons work! If you create your own art, you can be confident you will be accepted.

Hello <@&792965711630041098>s, welcome to Art Randomizer! Here’s how it will work:
🔸 Everyone will be given a random prompt, character, challenge, and amount of time to complete the artwork.
🔸 We will do THREE randomizers today! (That is, we’ll do three different prompts)
🔸 PROMPTS are the themes that you will be drawing the character in– example: genderbent
🔸 CHARACTERS will be the character that you draw. Pretty self-explanatory!
🔸 CHALLENGES are handicaps for all artists while drawing the character and prompt– example: using mouse only
🔸TIME will be between 5 minutes, 10 minutes, and 30 minutes.
ALL FOUR OF THESE CONDITIONS WILL BE RANDOMIZED IN A WHEEL!
🔸 The judges will score you based on creativity, effort, and accuracy of the character drawn.
🔸 …which are the OFFICIAL rules, but it’s really up to the judge to give the score. They can give you a 10 if they think your drawing is funny or something. It’s really up to them.

Hey everyone! I’ve gotten a couple feedbacks regarding the last event.
It seems that my behavior in the last round (that is, reacting to the artworks in real time) off-put a few people. For that, I’d like to deeply apologize. It was not my intention to discourage any of you, and as it was the last round, it was meant to be fun way to end the event.
There were also concerns of biases while judging, such as me saying I couldn’t give a high score if this character didn’t have a certain trait to it. Although I will admit to being biased in some of my judgements (just due to personal preference), most of the scores given were based on accuracy and creativity. However, I can absolutely see why people might think I was heavily biased, and for that, I’d like to apologize as well.
All of your concerns have been taken into account for future events! And please, if you have any criticisms don’t hesitate to DM me so we can improve events for the future.
