I think its because it isn't something that is really needed or wanted. The modpack already has lots of gloves. Or maybe people are mad their suggestions are getting downvoted so they then go downvote others for no reason, too. 😉.

You can say that about a lot of mods that they aren't needed, especially in a kitchen sink modpack. But this mod specifically just makes things more consistent, imagine if vanilla had the boots slot but the only boots obtainable would be leather and iron, you definitely could beat the game and have fun, but it'd look weird that all armor parts can be made of all materials but boots only out of some
