mutant monsters wont work (kinda)

i am playing my modpack and added the mutant monsters pack and wanted to test them out because i realized none were spawning, and when i go to spawn one it makes their sounds and stuff but it dosent actually spawn them, its just thin air

they likely made modifications to mob spawning

dont download a modpack you know nothing about and attempt to add hundreds of mods

it had this mod in it already tho
