+1 to this, ae2 is honestly really annoying to get started into as well and not everyone enjoys the tech grind. better performance than toms whilst being just as accessible sounds like a win win

Storage drawers are so nice

I’m in favor of this just to shut up the people who don’t like ae2

How does it work? Can it forms an Energyless Network like Tom's?

No

#

They are just 1 block storage containers that can hold pretty decent amount of items in them

It’s essentially a less intense version of the storage units from TR/MI with more functionality to them, as well as more user friendliness. A lot of modpacks I’ve seen have this as an alternative to ae2

i do second this, whilst ae2 is more versatile & pretty lag friendly, this mod does function similarly to tom's without extreme lag generated by block entities especially with the storage controller option and options to hide item displays n stuff to help with those who might have fps problems. while tom's made it easy for mass storage for all types of items, this could be useful for the hoarders while still also forcing or allowing them to be creative with item storage for non stackables which wouldn't have really been an thought of or used since most people relied on toms to just shove every item away and forget about them the_smiler

this also would function pretty flawlessly alongside ae2 whilst toms was a bit more finicky with how you could really go about connecting storages

The last part esp

Ye the mod has built in compat

could also be useful for the tech nerds who like to create massive farms that are disconnected from their main system

#

it's a more versatile way of displaying things and i've found great joy from using it whilst toms has been very buggy for mass storage and really does make a hit on performance if you didn't wish to do ae2

Oh I do that with quantum units from TR. they’re rather easy to automate

storage drawers r 10x easier to create lol

Ive seen the argument that they dont add mich since theres already big chests but in my opinion they can coexist with the big chests.

Chests are for variety storage, storage drawers can only store a max of 4 different items, just alot of those.

So its a different usecase imo
