Update: I have discovered a means to teleport entities from the Abyss to the Overworld. Using Warp Plates from Waystones, you can link a overworld plate to a abyss plate.
Warp Plates will teleport any entity regardless of what dimension it's in, as long as the plate is linked to another plate. This means that cross-dimensional abyss farms may be possible, though I have yet to test the effectiveness of the warp plate method
