Planes don't really fit medieval. You can play Icarae class. Arcanus wand (you get in tutorial) can cast Lunge Spell when you discover it and allows you to travel pretty well early-mid game. Elytra needs no rockets because of Arcanus (once Master level) Lunge Spell. Archon also adds Propel spell which is similar to Arcanus' Lunge Spell.

It might fit BMC, I haven't played that pack though. Feel free to suggest it for that though. Just had to point out why it won't fit MMC so you won't be disappointed when it doesn't get added.
