That's an issue with your mod loader, and there isn't anything they can do about it.

What you can do is backup the options.txt file in the modpack folder before updating, then restore it after.

this happens because of how curseforge modpacks work, there's an options.txt and config folder that overwrites each update.

the only thing you can realistically do is backup the settings
